Planable has an automatic notifications system that delivers push notifications to your Android or iOS devices. However, sometimes they may not be visible on your device. We outlined the four main reasons the notifications might not be displayed on your device and how to fix that, please see the instructions below.
1. Network issues
Normally push notifications do arrive quite quickly. The most common reason for notifications being delayed is the device had no internet connection or a poor connection and the notification did not arrive until the connection was made.
The network / WiFi you're connected to may have closed your connection to Apple or Google servers'. Try disabling and re-enabling your internet connection. Also, see these Notifications delayed troubleshooting guide for more details.
2. The app has push permissions Disabled
Please, make sure push permissions are enabled for the device:
iOS - Go to device Settings > Planable > Notifications.
ANDROID - Go to device Settings > Apps > Planable > Notifications.
3. Low Power, Energy Saving, Do Not Disturb Mode
Some devices have a specific battery optimization that will stop notifications from showing.
iOS - "Low Power Mode" is enabled. If in your Settings > Battery > Low Power Mode is enabled, this will reduce the rate at which notifications can be received or turn them off completely.
iOS - "Do Not Disturb" is enabled. If in your Settings > Do Not Disturb is enabled, this can prevent notifications from being received.
ANDROID - Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization or Adaptive Battery > Find the Planable app and press Don't optimize
4. The app is Force Stopped
When an app is in a "Force Stopped" state push notifications will not be received. An app can be placed in this state in the following ways.
From Settings > Apps, "Force Stop" is pressed.
Long pressing the back button on some devices.
Using a 3rd party task killer like Greenify.
Swiping away your app while remote debugging it. Not the same as viewing the logcat but launching your app as a remote debug process.
Swiping away your app from the recent apps on the list on a Xiaomi device.
Automatically on some devices due to custom Android tweaks done by manufacturers. Steps below on disabling this per device

Step 1: Settings --> Advanced Settings or Power Saving --> Battery Manager or Protected Apps --> select the Planable app to protect it.
Step 2: Settings --> Apps or Notification Manager --> Advanced or Notify for your app --> Ignore Battery Optimizations, select the app and ignore it.
Step 3: Settings --> Notification Panel & Status Bar --> Notification Center, select the app, then activate "Allow Notifications" and also "Priority Display". Full Instructions.
Pre-EMUI 5.0 / Android 7 - Go to Settings > "Protected apps", check the Planable. Full Instructions
Lenovo
Settings --> Power Manager --> Background App Management, select the Planable App and ignore it.
OnePlus
Settings --> Apps OR Advanced or Battery --> gear icon OR Recent Apps Management OR Apps not optimized OR Battery Optimizations --> App Autolaunch or Ensure Normal clear enabled or Don't Optimize or Advanced and toggle Planable app
Samsung
Disable battery usage optimizations
Settings --> Device Management --> Battery --> Unmonitored apps --> Add Planable
Settings --> Apps --> Planable --> App Settings --> Notifications --> Set as Priority
Sony
Tap on the battery icon. Go to Power Management --> STAMINA mode --> Apps active in standby --> Add your app.
Xiaomi / Redmi
Security (App) --> Permissions --> Autostart - Enable Planable app
To enable Developer Options, go to Settings --> About. Tap on MIUI 8 times. Settings --> Developer Options. Disable "memory optimization". Full Instructions
