Planable Engagement is the newest feature designed to help you manage and respond to comments across your Facebook and Instagram channels (LinkedIn coming soon!). Make sure you don't miss any comments and keep your community engaged.
Setting up Engagement permissions
Everyone in your workspace can see the Engagement add-on, but the administrator of the workspace can control exactly who has permission to respond.
At workspace level, access the Members section:
And then access the permissions tab and set the permissions for who is able to respond:
How to use engagement
Your comments are organized into three main categories:
1. Open: Comments that require your immediate attention.
2. Later: Comments you want to revisit. Use the Later status for comments that need more time or research.
3. Done: Resolved comments. Mark conversations as Done once they're fully resolved.
How to respond to comments
Click on a comment to view the full context.
Respond directly with a click on "Reply" to open a comment window. The original commenter is automatically tagged, making it easy to engage.
How to manage the status of your comment
You can manage your comments with simple actions:
1. Mark as done
Mark a comment thread as completed. Click on "Mark as done".
2. Save for later
Bookmark a comment to address at a later time.
Supported channels
Currently, the Engagement feature supports:
Facebook
Instagram
LinkedIn coming soon (within a few weeks) π
More channels will be added in the future.
Other details to be considered
When using the Engagement feature, please be aware of these aspects:
Full comment history: We sync all comments from the beginning of the post published on platform. Comments can be loaded in batches, sorted by newest-first.
Posts' display: The Engagement dashboard displays posts from the last 14 days, helping you focus on your most recent content;
Comment retrieval: Comments are only available for posts published within the last 14 days;
Instagram reactions: Instagram API does not support comment reactions;
Boosted posts: Comments made during boosted post campaigns currently do not appear in Planable. Our development team is actively working to fix this aspect.
