Find out how to plan, schedule and publish your YouTube videos
YouTube videos
In Planable, you can plan, preview, collaborate on, and schedule YouTube videos directly for your channel.
In your workspace, go to "Add pages" and select "YouTube". Only channel owners can connect the page in Planable.
Once you've connected the page, go to the page settings to set the visibility of videos: public, unlisted or private.

To crete posts, add videos from your computer or the Media Library.
You can also customise the following settings per each video:
Privacy
Category
Playlist
License
Add Tags
Select if it's "Made for Kids"
Once you've uploaded your video, change its title and write a description. You can also trim the video or choose a thumbnail.
After all the details are set, you can schedule or publish the video directly to your channel.
Limitations for YouTube Publishing in Planable:
Maximum file size: 2 GB

Maximum video duration:
If you have a YouTube verified account, you can upload and publish videos up to 60 min.
If you don’t have a verified account, you can upload videos up to 15 min.
Aspect ratio: Any aspect ratio is supported
Frame rate: Any frame rate is supported
Video format: MP4, MOV, or AVI are the recommended video formats
Videos must comply with YouTube's Community Guidelines
You need to have the appropriate permissions to publish videos to YouTube using the API
On the Free plan you will be able to publish 1 video/ 24 hours
YouTube shorts
In Planable you can also publish YouTube Shorts by following these steps:
1. Video Length: Ensure your video is under 60 seconds.
2. Make sure you upload the video in Shorts section.
In this way, when you schedule your video, it will be published as a YouTube Short.
Also, by uploading your video in the Shorts section, you’ll be able to group it with Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and TikTok videos when creating a grouped post in Planable.
3. You can also select the privacy setting for your video, just like on YouTube. Choose from Public, Unlisted, and Private.
Keep in mind that with Planable Video Editor, you can also crop the video within the standard aspect ratio for YouTube Shorts.
Analytics for YouTube
Planable provides as well Analytics for your YouTube channels, to help you track and evaluate the performance of your content directly from your workspace.
This feature provides detailed insights into your video performance, helping you make data-driven decisions.
Here’s What You Can Track:
Views: Monitor how many times your videos have been watched.
Watch Time: Understand how long viewers stay engaged with your content.
Likes, Comments, Shares: Track audience interactions and engagement.
Subscribers Gained: Measure how your videos contribute to subscriber growth.
