With Planable you’re able to tweak, edit and collaborate on images so they’re just right for your posts.
Images can be edited from the composer, or later on after the post’s been saved.
You’ll find the option if you hover over the image, in the top left corner:
Automatic image cropping
When you upload photos that don't match the aspect ratios required by social media platforms, Planable automatically crops them to fit perfectly. Your images will be instantly cropped for each platform without any manual adjustments needed.
If you prefer your original photo and want to make some editing changes yourself, you can undo the automatic cropping with just one click.
Available editing options
While automatic cropping handles the basics, sometimes you'll want more creative control. Here's where Planable's editing features come in.
From the editor, you have several options to choose from:

Cropping – crop the image, freely or within a certain ratio. Flip or rotate it any way you need.
By choosing the Custom option, you have the complete freedom to adjust the crop area to your specific needs, without being constrained by preset dimensions.
Preset ratios of Square, Landscape and Portrait are common aspect ratios useful for various purposes across social media platforms.
The Instagram Landscape and Instagram Portrait options ensure that images are optimized for Instagram. These presets save you time by eliminating the need to research or manually adjust dimensions to meet platform guidelines.
Filter – choose from 13 colorful and black & white filters
Finetune – adjust settings such as brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, temperature, gamma, clarity, and vignette
Annotate – leave comments or suggestions on the image for the creative team
Annotations are applied directly to the image. These are drawings, or text, or lines and etc. that remain anchored to specific parts of the image itself. No matter how you crop, resize, or modify the image, the annotation stays in place and moves with the image. This ensures that your annotations always reference the same location on the image.
Decorate
Unlike annotations, decorations do not move with the image. Instead, their position remains fixed, even if the image itself is repositioned or adjusted within the canvas.
Sticker – add a sticker, or upload any visual and place it anywhere on your image
Frame - add any frame to the image
Redact – blur parts of the image
Resize – adjust the width and height of your image

Once you’re happy with the design, click “save” and your image will be updated in the post.
