With Planable you're able to tweak, edit and collaborate on images so they're just right for your posts. Images can be edited from the composer, or later on after the post's been saved.
You'll find the option if you hover over the image, in the top left corner:

Automatic image cropping
When you upload photos that don't match the aspect ratios required by social media platforms, Planable automatically crops them to fit perfectly. Your images will be instantly cropped for each platform without any manual adjustments needed.
If you prefer your original photo and want to make some editing changes yourself, you can undo the automatic cropping with just one click.
💡 Pro tip: Workspace owners and admins can configure default auto-crop behavior for the entire workspace. Head to workspace settings to adjust the auto-crop defaults.
Available editing options
While automatic cropping handles the basics, sometimes you'll want more creative control. Here's where Planable's editing features come in.
From the editor, you have several options to choose from:
Cropping
Crop the image freely or within a certain ratio. You can also flip or rotate the image.
Available cropping options:
- Custom — free adjustment with no fixed ratio
- Square — 1:1 ratio
- Landscape — horizontal ratio
- Portrait — vertical ratio
- Instagram Landscape — preset for Instagram horizontal posts
- Instagram Portrait — preset for Instagram vertical posts
Filter
Choose from 13 colorful and black-and-white filters to set the mood for your image.
Finetune
Fine-tune your image with granular adjustments: brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, temperature, gamma, clarity, and vignette.
Annotate
Add comments and suggestions directly on the image for your creative team. Annotations are applied directly to the image and move with it.
Decorate
Add decorative elements to your image. Their position remains fixed even if the image is repositioned.
Sticker
Add a sticker to your image, or upload any visual to use as a sticker.
Frame
Add any frame to the image to give it a polished look.
Redact
Blur parts of the image to redact sensitive or unwanted information.
Resize
Adjust the width and height of your image to match your exact requirements.
Saving your edits
You can always undo any edits:
Or revert the image back to the original:
Once you're happy with the design, click Save and your image will be updated in the post.
