With Planable, you can tag products directly in your Instagram posts, making it easier for your audience to discover and purchase items from your shop.
To do so:
Make sure you have an Instagram business account linked to a Facebook page
Give access to your shop through Planable. This will be done the first time you tag a product
Have approved catalogue items and products
It’s worth keeping in mind that there are a few limitations:
Product tagging is not supported for Stories and Instagram Creator accounts.
You can tag 20 products in total. If you have one asset, you can have up to 20 products tagged on it; if you have a carousel post, you can have a maximum of 5 products tagged per asset.
- Planable user must have an admin role on the Business Manager that owns the Instagram Shop whose products are being used to tag media.
To tag a product in an Instagram post, upload your asset (image or video), and then hover over it to find the tagging options.
