Facebook requires that you install the Planable app to your Facebook group.

Go to the Facebook group you're managing and find "General settings" from the menu on the left:

Then, on the main page, scroll down to "Manage advanced settings" section and click on the pencil icon next to "Apps":

Search for Planable, and click on the app to add it.

Once you're done with this step, go back to Planable and "Authorize" your group.

Update: Meta will be shutting down the Facebook groups API starting April 22nd.

This decision was made by Meta, the parent company of Facebook, in order to prioritize user privacy and security.

What is the Facebook groups API? The Facebook groups API is a tool that allows third-party apps, like Planable, to access and publish content to Facebook groups on behalf of users. This feature has been widely used by businesses and social media managers to schedule and publish posts to multiple Facebook groups at once. However, with the recent changes made by Meta, this API will no longer be available.

What does this mean for Planable users? If you are a Planable user, you will no longer be able to publish content to Facebook groups using the platform.
