When it comes to Facebook, all you need to do is add a link to the post and upload two or more images to create a carousel.
If you want to edit the first image of the carousel, you'll have to upload two or more images and then drag and drop them as you wish using the "Reorder" button, as in the screenshot below.
To create a carousel post on Instagram, simply upload two or more images or videos. The process is the same on X and LinkedIn.
