In Planable, you can share individual posts or entire views with external collaborators via a link — no sign-in required. It's a quick way to gather feedback.

You can share content with as many people as needed, and public guests won’t count towards your workspace member limit.

Share a single post via link

From the desktop app

To create a public share link for your post, click on "Create public share link" in the post menu. This will generate a shareable link that you can send to external collaborators, even if they don’t have a Planable account.

From the Mobile App

You can also create a shareable link directly from the mobile app. To do so:

  1. Go to your post and tap the three dots on the right of the post.

  2. Select the "Share post link" option.

The link will be automatically generated and copied to your clipboard, ready to share.

What the link looks like for external users

Guest users will be able to view the post on both desktop and mobile. They can also see previous comments on the post (excluding internal notes), any labels applied to the post, and the collaborators associated with the post (only for the shared post).

After writing a comment, for convenience we will ask the guest user to leave their username or email:

If you no longer want to share the post, you can easily disable the link:

Share a link for an entire view

Want to share more than just one post? You can now share a custom view — whether it's a full calendar week, a filtered feed, or a tailored content plan. This is ideal for clients or internal teams who need a broader overview.

You can create and share a view directly from Calendar, Feed and Grid.

Here's how to create and share a link:

1. Create your view

  • Start by selecting your preferred view: Calendar, Feed, or Grid.

  • Customise the view by applying filters to choose specific posts and a date range.

  • Click the dropdown in the top-right corner to create a link to this view.

2. Choose who can access it

Set who’s allowed to see this view:

3. Select a time range or keep it dynamic

4. Get a preview or copy the link

Once the external users access the link, they'll be able to see the posts and leave comments and suggestions.

5. Manage your views anytime

All your custom views are saved in the view dropdown.

From there, you can:

  • Edit view settings

  • Copy the share link again

  • Add to favourites

  • Delete the view
