Instagram Collab posts are a great way to boost visibility and engagement. With just a few clicks, you can invite up to three collaborators to join you in crafting engaging Instagram posts or reels.

From the composer, press the People button. Then, you can invite another account as a collaborator by entering their page handle in the tagging area. The page or profile you're tagging needs to be a Professional account, either a Creator or Business account, for you to tag it.

Additionally, the accounts you'd like to tag should ensure that Allow tags from everyone and Allow mentions from everyone are enabled. (For privacy purposes, Instagram treats collaborators and tagged accounts similarly.)

Once they accept your invitation from Instagram, your post will be shared with their followers, and they'll be recognized as co-authors.

Currently, collaborators can only be added for posts and reels.
