Instagram's API has several limitations for all scheduling tools.

Here's everything you need to know about how you can get access to Direct Publishing (posts going out automatically):

  • If you've connected your Instagram professional account to Planable via the Instagram option (Option 1)

Or connected your Business Instagram account which is linked it to a Facebook Business page (Option 2)

Then you are eligible for Instagram direct publishing, enabling access to Posts, Reels, and Stories.

  • Find out here how to easily switch a personal profile to a Business page.

How to make sure your Instagram Business page is linked to a Facebook page.

Here are the required aspect ratios and durations for images, videos, and Reels for direct Instagram publishing:

For personal profiles, creator accounts, or business accounts not linked to Facebook you can publish using our mobile app.
