My approvals is your dedicated review queue in Planable: a board that collects every post you need to sign off on, organized by where each post is in the review process.

Instead of scrolling through a full content calendar to find what needs your attention, My approvals shows only the posts waiting for you, so you can work through them in one place.
How to find My approvals
Open My approvals from the left sidebar, or from the views section at the top of the page. When posts are waiting for your review, a red badge shows how many.
Good to know: Posts only appear here after someone has sent you an approval request. If the board looks empty, ask your agency or team to request your approval on the relevant posts.
What the three columns mean
The board is organized into three columns based on where each post stands in your review:
- Awaiting approval: posts sent to you that you have not acted on yet. Start here.
- Feedback left: posts where you have left a comment that is still unresolved. The post is still pending approval; it sits here so you can keep track of what you have weighed in on.
- Approved: posts you have signed off on. They stay visible for reference for one month after you approve them. [Verify: live copy said 7 days; July code shows approvals from the last month]
Good to know: In workspaces with Multi-level approvals, you only see posts at your approval level. Posts still waiting for an earlier level, or already past yours, do not appear on your board.
How to review and approve posts
To start reviewing, click Review posts in the top right corner, or click any post card in the Awaiting approval column. When posts are waiting, the button shows the count, for example Review 5 posts.
Both open a post preview where you can:
-
Leave feedback: add a comment, tag your agency contact or attach a file.
-
Skip to the next post: move this post to the end of the queue so you can come back to it later.
-
Approve: confirm the post is ready to go. No further action is needed from you.
-
Open full preview: open the post in a larger view, where you can leave more precise feedback, like highlighting specific text to annotate or suggest edits.
💡 Pro tip: Make sure all pages are selected in the left sidebar. Otherwise, you may not see posts from every channel your agency manages for you.
How to approve all posts at once
Click Approve all in the top bar to approve every post in the Awaiting approval column in one go. Planable asks you to confirm before approving.
In Multi-level workflows, approving all posts automatically requests approval from the next level.
How to move posts between columns
You can also drag and drop post cards between columns:
- Drag a post to Approved to approve it.
- Drag a post to Feedback left to open the feedback dialog and add a comment.
- Drag an approved post back to Awaiting approval or Feedback left to revoke your approval. Planable asks you to confirm first.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my My approvals board empty?
Posts only appear after an approval request has been sent to you, and only for the pages selected in the sidebar. You also need the Approve permission in the workspace; without it, the Awaiting approval and Feedback left columns stay empty.
How long do approved posts stay on the board?
Approved posts stay in the Approved column for reference for one month after you approve them.
Can I approve several posts at once?
Yes. Click Approve all in the top bar to approve every post awaiting your approval, or drag individual cards into the Approved column.
Can I undo an approval from My approvals?
Yes. Drag the post from Approved back to Awaiting approval or Feedback left and confirm. This revokes your approval.
Is the Feedback left column shared with other approvers?
No. The Feedback left column is personal: it only shows posts where you left feedback. Each approver sees their own board.
