Planable supports various media formats across platforms. Check out the table for specific requirements and limitations for each platform.

  • Max duration: 20 minutes
  • Supported formats: MP4, MOV, AVI
  • Up to 63K characters in a single post
Facebook Reels Images not supported for Reels
  • Max file size: 1 GB
  • Aspect ratio: 9:16
  • Recommended resolution: 1080x1920 pixels (min 540x960)
  • Frame rate: 24-60 fps
  • Duration: 3 to 90 seconds
  • Supported formats: MP4, MOV, AVI
  • Due to API limitations, no music, filters, or other effects are available
Instagram Posts
  • Max resolution: 1080x1080 pixels for square images
  • Supported format: JPEG
  • Aspect ratio:  3:4 to 1.91:1
  • If Instagram rejects a 3:4 image, Planable fits it into 4:5 with blurred sides
  • Max file size: 8 MB
  • Duration: 3-60 seconds
  • Supported formats: MP4, MOV
  • Aspect ratios: 1.9:1 (landscape), 1:1 (square), 4:5, 16:9
  • Up to 2,200 characters
  • Max 30 hashtags
Instagram Stories Supports single image or video per story only
  • Max file size: 100MB
  • Max duration: 60 seconds
  • Supported formats: MP4, MOV
  • Cannot include interactive elements or links
  • Due to API limitations, no hashtags, links, or interactive elements are allowed in captions* mobile app workaround.
Instagram Carousel
  • Same resolution and format as single image/video posts
  • Up to 10 images or videos per post
  • All media must have the same aspect ratio
  • If one 3:4 slide is fitted into 4:5, the other 3:4 slides are fitted the same way
  • Same format and aspect ratio requirements as single video posts
  • Up to 2,200 characters
Instagram Reels Images not supported for Reels
  • Max file size: 1 GB
  • Aspect ratio: 9:16
  • Duration: 3-90 seconds

  • Trending music and original audio can be added from Planable when the page is connected through Facebook and the Reel publishes directly
